Kellie Pickler was born to Cynthia Morton and Clyde Pickler Jr at Stanly Memorial Hospital in Albemarle. Kellie Pickler was raised by her paternal grandparents. To this day Kellie idolizes her grandparents as the most influential people in her life. When asked on the American Idol show, 'who her heroes in life are'.
